Description

After the loss of a child along with a slew of agonizing misfortunes, Nick and Jess decide to end their lives. Unable to cope with the misery that fills their days, they commit one last act together and die in loving relief.

But when Nick wakes up, he soon realizes that death isn't the gentle darkness he expected. Panicked and horrified, he struggles to understand the twisted abominations and hellish world he's now trapped in.

    This book is exactly what i’ve been looking for in disturbing novels. If you are like me and want something completely different and nasty then this is for you. The ending felt rushed that’s my only reason for 4 stars. Great read!

    If you’ve been listening to the No Sleep Podcast and heard the story of the Black Farm, this book will not disappoint you at all. I started reading this book about two days ago and found that I could not part with it. I was at the edge of my bed reading certain parts, my heart racing. It took a lot of control to not read ahead to find out what happens next. I have definitely been converted to a fan of horror books. I purchased another book from Elias Witherow because I crave to see what else his amazing mind can come up with. Worth every penny. I just wish I could forget everything I just read so that I can read it all over again with surprise.

    From the moment I started reading, I couldn’t put the book down. So incredibly well written and the most intense and messed up story I’ve ever heard in my life. Very original and truly terrifying. Loved it so much.

    Honestly until I read this book, my favorite book was hatchet. I never even liked horror stories. This book was gory and I almost didn’t make it through, but about chapter 4 I was so sunk into this book I read the entire thing in one sitting. I was sucked into it like a black hole. Took my 6 hours. 10/10 will definitely buy on paperback soon.

    This is one of the best books I have ever read, I couldn’t even put it down. I literally finished it in less than two days. I recommend this to anyone who likes gore & enjoys suspense !!
