Marvelous old time western. First book in series of four...or five. Anyway, a really great read.

Good as his regular crime novels set in contemporary times. Characters a lot like his usual good & bad guys, just with horses and Winchesters.

I loved the plot of both and the movie is fantastic!

Great piece. An excellent companion to the movie. Great characters, and fantastic dialogue! A must read for western fans!
